Setting up your Self-Identification Message
This guide is intended for end-users of the 3CX phone system.
Your 3CX Administrator must set up the dial by name directory within your digital receptionist first for the following to work.
Setting up your Self-Identification Message
For the Dial by Name directory to work correctly each extension user will need to go into their voicemail and set up their "Self-Identification Message"
- To set up the self-identification message follow these steps:
- Connect to voicemail ( If you have physical phones you can press the voicemail button or Dial*4 then Dial your Ext number then dial your pin from any physical phone or the app.)
- Choose option 9
- Choose Option 5
- Record your Full Name as your "Self-Identification Message".
